Clockworks is a macOS app made by Browserworks. It helps you track time in your own Moneybird administration. We designed it to collect as little as possible. Put simply, we don't collect, store or sell your data.
What the app does with your data
- Your time entries, contacts, projects and user details go directly between your Mac and Moneybird's API (moneybird.com). They are not sent to Browserworks.
- Your Moneybird access tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain on your Mac.
- Some preferences stay on your Mac, such as your selected administration and which client belongs to which project.
- The app contains no analytics, tracking or advertising.
Signing in with Moneybird
When you sign in, Moneybird sends a one-time authorization code to clockworks.browserworks.io. Our server exchanges that code for access tokens, adding the app's client secret, and passes the tokens straight back to the app. The server does not store tokens, codes or any of your Moneybird data. Standard web server logs (IP address, time, requested URL) may be kept for up to 14 days for security and troubleshooting.
Revoking access
You can disconnect Clockworks at any time in the app (Settings → Disconnect), or revoke access in Moneybird under Settings → Connections.
